Zawsze, nawet wtedy gdy zajmowałam się tylko malarstwem, intrygowały mnie kontrasty faktur i rytm. Ceramika pozwoliła mi przenieść te poszukiwania w trzeci wymiar. Dlatego też w moich pracach chętnie wykorzystuję strukturę, która wynika z ich wewnętrznej konstrukcji nie będąc jedynie dodanym ornamentem. Tworzę "byty", które gdyby istniały, spotkalibyśmy na spacerze po plaży lub w lesie. A może one istnieją, a ja je tylko znajduję?

Always, even at the times when painting was my mainstay the contrast of texture and form held me spellbound. My close encounter with ceramic art allowed me to take my search into the third dimension. Therefore in my work I often utilize the structure resulting from its interior construction not being solely ornamental. I create "beings", which if they existed I would have met while walking along the shore or in the forest. Perhaps they exist and I am just finding them.
